Rose State College

Rose State College is a two-year community college in Midwest City, Oklahoma with more than 60-degree programs and certifications. From the first day of classes in 1970, Rose State has always strived to give students the best value and return on investment for their education. At Rose State, students have small class sizes, faculty with industry experience, and three main pathway options to meet their goals. 

Concurrent Courses

Rose State College provides opportunities for high school juniors and seniors who meet policy requirements to gain college credit through concurrent enrollment. High School students can receive a resident tuition waiver for up to 18 hours in their senior year and 9 hours as a junior. Concurrent classes are offered on campus, via online or interactive television (ITV) courses at the high school. Concurrent coursework is an exciting way to begin your college career and reduce the time it takes to complete a degree. 

Transfer To Bachelors

Rose State College offers a more affordable path to a bachelor’s degree through Associates of Arts or Associates of Science degrees. Students can safely complete their first two years and be assured of a smooth transfer to state and regional universities. By working closely with academic advisors, students are able to select from over 60 degree plans to find the degree that best fits their transfer plans. A completed A.A. or A.S. degree fulfills Oklahoma general education requirements at any state institution

Into The Workforce

Associate in Applied Science degrees provide a direct path to the workforce with more specific skill-based coursework. Earn your degree in fields such as business, cyber security, paralegal studies or healthcare and go directly into your career. Applied Associates degrees are designated as A.A.S. in the course catalog. Many of these programs have limited space and are application based. It is important to understand the requirements and prerequisite coursework for application.
